Welcome to Water People Tours & Camp Kapapa

Water People Tours Created
Started offering tours on the Flathead Indian Reservation, Glacier National Park, the National Bison Range, Flathead Lake and surrounding areas.
The Green Camp Idea
“We aim to do more than just provide historical and educational tours. While much of the land around Flathead Lake is developed, our campsite remains primitive, and we intend to keep it that way. Our goal is to preserve our history and educate visitors about eco-consciousness. By offering camping, we minimize our footprint on the lakeshore, respecting both wildlife and the cultural/spiritual qualities of the land.”
Cleanup Phase I
Cleaned up a lot of downfall and dead brush. started building our first composting toilet.
Cleanup Phase II
Clean up and land maintenance. After clean-up was completed we started to build our flat spots and tent platforms.
Development
Grass planted, rock gardens in place, a road constructed, tent decks built and wall tent put up — deck with a wheelchair ramp constructed and composting toilet. A water monster constructed out of recycled tires for the children to have something to do while we worked. Wall tent goes up on wall tent deck and micro cabin frame built.
Gazebo & Pergola
Construction of our outdoor kitchen and gazebo.
Camp Ka Papa Opens
